Variations of European Roulette |
There is an array of different variations of the popular game of
roulette. One of the more popular types comes in the form of European roulette. The game of European roulette differs slightly from the other variations in terms of the numbers featured on the roulette wheel. This factor determines the types of bets that can be placed, as well as the strategies that can be played out. In terms of the European roulette wheel and table, such a device consists of 37 slots. These include the numbers one to 37 and a single zero. The numbers on the roulette wheel are represented on a roulette table. A total of eight players can take part at any one time, as this is how many punters are able to stand around the European roulette table. When it comes to the rules of European roulette, the players must put down their wagers on the roulette table before the game begins. The players must then wait in anticipation for the ball to stop spinning
in order to see if it has in fact landed on the number they chose.
Players are able to place wagers until the game leader calls ˜no more bets™. This is often just before the ball drops into any one of the slots on the gaming wheel.
After this point the players are not to tamper with either their placed wagers or their chips, at least until the leader has determined the winner of the game in question.
Once the ball has stopped spinning and has landed on a slot on the roulette wheel, the game leader will then take either money or betting chips from those that have lost the game in question. The collected money or chips are then awarded to the winners.
